What Is A General Protection Fault?

A general protection fault is an error you receive in Windows 3.1 (and sometimes Windows 95 / 98) when something is really fouled up with your computer's memory. Based on my experience however, I have noticed that this error occurs whenever it feels like it. Taking a cue from this frustrating error, our radio show was launched.

General Protection Fault is a weekly computer issues show which airs on KUAC 89.9 FM. On this radio show, we review computer (PC/Mac) and console (Playstation/Nintendo 64) products. These reviews are placed on our website in the RealAudio format for your perusing pleasure. We also feature interviews with local computer professionals, game developers, product managers, internet businesses, computer training clinics and just about any other type of technology professional. Last but certainly not least, we also answer your computer and technology questions!

Our Mission

What we want is for YOU, the listener, the computer user and the consumer to know what is available on the market and whether it is for you or the family down the street.  We want to inform YOU about various computer issues which could affect your work or home computing; be it database design or simply finding that one game which you know your mother won't approve of.  We plan to do this through our radio show on KUAC 89.9 FM.  All of our interviews, reviews and other segments will be archived here for your benefit.

Why Am I Here?

That's a rather existential question, but I'll do my best.  On this website you can listen to our REVIEWS of products: be it PC, Macintosh, Nintendo 64 or Playstation, and hear INTERVIEWS with various computing professionals.  To get the most from this site you will need to have Real Audio.
